MEET OUR PI: JARED MCLENDON

Jared McLendon's research focuses on post transcriptional gene regulation in cardiovascular tissues and understanding how dysregulation is association with disease. He has many published research papers, including one on oligonucleotide therapy for smooth muscle mediated disease. Due to its unique animal model for pulmonary hypertension, it led to contract research for Miragen Therapeutics and Celsion Corporation. For his most recent research, he is focusing on Sorbs 2 and it's impact on Alzheimer's.

We aim to understand diseases from a molecular level in order to identify and develop potential drugs to help potential patients.
